Silexz-Studios' conception began in the first few steps of 2003, undergoing its early development stages in March and finally released a few months later of the same year. Back then it was under the domain name Silexz.com and stood as such for a full year before being changed to its current name, Silexz-Studios. The original function of Silexz.com was a fan site, but after a year of review it became apparent to Silexz that he didn't really want his own fan site as much as to form a community of established and growing music producers. This indeed proved to be more successful of an endeavor because it brought a lot of talent, resources and opportunity into one friendly and helpful place. Up until now, Silexz-Studios had been mainly dominated by its music forum community, which will undoubtedly remain its focus, but this time it is reaching into different dimensions. Although Silexz himself humbly admits that his goal is for Silexz-Studios to eventually become a self sufficient, non genre biased record label and music/sound design company, he knows full well that his ambition is only attainable in small, steady steps and especially in need of funding. From its conception, the costs of upkeep have come from his own pocket with no payback, which is why one such dimensional reach has brought Silexz-Studios to sell its own original merchandise. As for the now well established and constantly growing forum community, it remains a breeding ground for potentially up and coming artists, whether they branch off to pursue their own ambitions or further nestle themselves into the inner workings of Silexz-Studios' core.
